Little Kids, Big Topics was created by Jocelyn Bonadio de Freitas.

Jocelyn Bonadio de Freitas is a Harvard-trained arts educator, learning designer, and facilitator with over a decade of experience creating learning experiences and curricula in classrooms, public programs, and cultural institutions. She created Little Kids, Big Topics to help Millennial parents (and Gen Z!) navigate honest, emergent, age-appropriate conversations about race, care, safety, gender and sexuality, police and jails—starting in early childhood and grounded in progressive values.

Her work lives at the intersection of education, care, and cultural equity, and draws from years of experience as an educator, musician, arts advocate, and mother navigating big questions with a little kid. She lives in Brooklyn with her child.
