Little Kids, Big Topics was created by Jocelyn Bonadio de Freitas.
Jocelyn is a Harvard-trained arts educator, curriculum designer, and facilitator with over a decade of experience developing learning experiences in classrooms, through public programming, and for educational and cultural institutions. She created Little Kids, Big Topics to help Millennial parents raise values-driven kids through honest, age-appropriate conversations about race, care, safety, gender, police, and jails—starting in early childhood.
Her work lives at the intersection of education and cultural equity, and draws from years of experience as an educator, musician, arts advocate, and mother navigating big questions with a little kid. She lives in Brooklyn with her child.
